Datapanik in the Year Zero was indeed an EP by Pere Ubu (US as well) - referencing the B-movie SF flick Panic in the Year Zero.
It was also the title, eventually, of the big Pere Ubu box set containing all their work from 1975-1982, as well as a live disk and another disk - Terminal Drive - of other Cleveland bands of the early-to mid 70s, including Foreign Bodies.
