I justified paying the $25 annual fee for Flickr by using it to store the high-quality press pictures for my Edmonton Fringe show. Apparently it worked, as two newspapers managed to download three of the pictures and print them. My website server (on Roadrunner) only has a 5 mb limit for files, so using Flickr was an quick and easy solution for web storage. Hopefully it will spur me to put more pictures online, as well.
