I remember in the eighties when cable television came to my small town in Iowa - it changed everything, literally overnight, too. We had the whole world coming at us 24/7 and it was images, sounds and ideas we'd never considered or thought us in our little berg (Boy George, for one) - it was fantastic, MTV was cool then and we would watch it all weekend.
It quite simply changed our whole world. It happened again in the nineties with the internet.
I love the future and I can't wait for the next big one.
BTW, I thought you might like my recent theatre blog post "THE LAST GASP" in the Daily Dojo.
