Just wanted to let you know that I read this site all the time and as a young director, it's wonderful to hear your perspective on process and the specifics of your work as a director. I identify with a lot of it and love reading it.
particular to this post, it's great to hear I'm not the only one who feels that way at a certain point in the rehearsal process. Not happy when you're not there, ecstatic and vibrant when you are. Definitely been there. ~Matt
