Nothing much today to say. Really relaxing after the last three days of Caveman Robot performances. It's a demanding show, and I actually started to get lightheaded during the main Ape Lincoln scene last night. I had a brief moment of wondering if I could get through it, and when I got offstage I had a near-panic attack pulling the damned gorilla head off to get some air. Worth it all when I get the laughs, of course. That makes anything worth it. Got a nice review at www.nytheatre.com, too -- both the show and me specifically. That makes one pro and one con. We'll see how Time Out New York and www.offoffonline.com do by us later this week, I guess.

I saw Danny Bowes at the show, who I asked to be in That's What We're Here For (an american pageant) by email, but he never responded. Apparently he did, and our emails back and forth got lost in spam filter limbo, so I sent him the info at another address today, and he's in for the show. I haven't worked with him before, as I have with everyone else in the show -- and which I had really made a requirement -- but he's rather gung-ho about working with me, so that makes me feel okay about it. Looks like Yvonne Roen, wonderfully, in on board again too, as the other show she was doing has been postponed.

So the cast as it stands for the show, with their "proposed" parts is:

Gyda Arber -- Good Influence (Angel?)
Fred Backus -- Dad
Danny Bowes -- Utility Authority Duo (male)
Josephine Cashman -- Utility Authority Duo (female)
Maggie Cino -- Daughter
Jorge Cordova -- Son
Bryan Enk -- Bad Influence (Satan?)
Stacia French -- Mom
Ian W. Hill -- Narrator
Roger Nasser -- Utility Authority Duo (male)
Yvonne Roen -- Company Lady (capitalism?)
Alyssa Simon -- Utility Authority Duo (female)

One more solid little company here, I think. We'll see if these "characters" actually remain in the show. It's a starting place, at least.

Jorge was saying last night he was really looking forward to the show and the working process for it as I've detailed. Good. Again, this is not how I normally like to work with actors, but if they're into it, and remain focused, it'll work out just fine. Ah, I have to send the Equity info in . . . but I can't do that until I get specific performance dates.

Enough. I've got achy parts to relax today.
