The Inner Light
Jul. 20th, 2006 04:45 pmI have been writing things more important for me to get done than blogging here -- well, only partly, as I've been writing six different things, one of which is intended as a post for here when it's finished, another one not specifically written for here, but it'll show up here anyway.
One of the few ways I can get any writing done is to have several pieces going simultaneously, open in their own windows, so that when I get bored, stuck, or blocked on the one in front of me, I can immediately flip to another. And if I get stuck on all six, I can surf the web until inspiration strikes again.
So www.bloglines.com has been another constantly open window. A blessing or a curse, I dunno . . . it's made it easier to check the blogs/pages I like to check a lot faster, but it's also encouraged me to make up a list of nearly 200 pages to check. But I like having them all there.
As the format I use (and prefer) in LiveJournal doesn't let me have a blogroll, let me share mine with you below. There's plenty here I love that I just stumbled upon through the rolls of others, so you may find something special for yourself herein:

Without going out of my door
I can know all things on Earth
Without looking out of my window
I could know the ways of Heaven
The farther one travels
The less one knows
The less one really knows
Without going out of your door
You can know all things on Earth
Without looking out of your window
You can know the ways of Heaven
The farther one travels
The less one knows
The less one really knows
Arrive without travelling
See all without looking
Do all without doing
