Well, now that I sent out the email blast and all the mid-run publicity stuff, we get the rave review of Succubus/Slumberland I've been hoping and waiting for, for pull quotes and the like.
Oh, well. Into next week's "LAST TWO SHOWS" email.
Thanks, Mr. Criscuolo -- glad you got it.

Date: 2007-08-16 02:50 pm (UTC)From:Oh, no. I wasn't criticizing Michael or nytheatre.com at all - just bemoaning my damned luck in having the review come out after I sent out all the mid-run publicity (by about three hours). At least this show runs for another two performances next week, after I'll send out a last "SEE IT NOW BEFORE IT VANISHES" email to the list with some of the great pull-quotes from the review (believe me, I'm not going to be ungrateful for that review!).
No, I know that my show is a bit low-pri right now, with the big Fringe push at the site. I'm glad to get anything.

Ah. There you are.
Date: 2007-08-17 12:50 pm (UTC)From: (Anonymous)It looks as though you're doing very well, which makes me very happy. Someone from NMH has been looking for you too, and I've told her where to find you; you can find her at http://thefrontporchswing.blogspot.com/ .
I would understand completely if you didn't want to hear from me again. I certainly couldn't blame you. But I very much hope that's not the case.
Again, though, and regardless, I'm sorry for the past 12 years of silence. It was entirely my responsiblity and my fault, and I regret it immensely.
All my best to you and yours,
Hopper
PS: Yes, I did notice just how disturbingly ironical the entry title is. Dude. Whoa.

Thanks for passing on that Sarah was looking for me -- I actually have looked in on her blog a few times, but wasn't sure if she would be interested in getting back in touch. Glad to know she'd appreciate a hello.
A lot of people from the past of NMH have showed up here to say hi. This is maybe the best thing about having a blog and other online presence -- all the people you lost and didn't want to show up again sometime . . .
